Target Audience and Location: 8th-12th-grade students in the San Fernando Valley

Mission: To inspire action among teens and increase awareness of mental health challenges.

Project Description: Founding student scholar Sarah Tran and educator Cindy Quintana created Civics Delivered to empower young people with the skills to drive change in their communities. This year, the student leadership team partnered with Inspiring Girls, a nonprofit organization, to bring in role models for a series of speaker events. Together, they have hosted three panels and plan to continue expanding these opportunities in collaboration.
