hAPPy Schools Expo

2016 Bezos Scholar Shubham Pai and educator Jill McNulty created the hAPPy Schools Expo to connect students at Sunset Ridge Middle School (SRMS) and Connecticut IB Academy (CIBA) to share their innovative ideas with peers and community stakeholders.
High school students mentored and worked with middle school students to create apps that inspired empathy and action on both a local and global level. During it’s second year, the hAPPy Schools Expo event respond to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as students identified and designed meaningful solutions to present at the Expo.
