Catherine Delight

Island roots and Swahili traditions taught Catherine that strong communities are built on collaboration and deeply rooted in heritage, tradition and language. An educator passionate about purpose-driven learning, she blends project management with creativity to re‑engineer classrooms around real‑world problem-solving. Her teaching philosophy incorporates unconventional subjects and innovative learning methods that nurture creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset. When she isn’t encouraging students to think outside of the box, Catherine enjoys singing karaoke, experimenting with new recipes, and swimming. As an educator, she hopes to gain innovative leadership tools and collaborate with like-minded changemakers, ultimately empowering her students to drive meaningful change in their communities.
